This
5-tiered, fondant-covered cake is designed to resemble DaVinci's historic personal
notebooks in which he kept notations and observations on many topics including
human anatomy, architecture, painting, and mathematics. This centerpiece cake
includes edible replicas of two of DaVinci's most recognizable works: "The
Vitruvian Man" and his self-portrait. In homage to DaVinci's 554th birthday,
a birthday cake topped with a gold fondant bow rests atop a "marble"
column made entirely of sugar. |
